Benefits of the Auto Sander

All functions are controlled using Hot Keys on key pad
Motor driven z-axis with 1" of travel
Granite chuck can be lowered .200" below the reference surface and .800" above making it the most flexible sander for various tip depths in the marketplace
All components integrated into the granite base makes it a ergonomically correct and compact design
Surface levels are embedded into granite base to ensure leveling and planarity
The LCD front panel shows z-position, mode of operation, and chuck speed
Mounting holes are compatible with Applied Precision's PRVX 2™ and PRVX 3™

Z-Axis movement is controlled in two modes. The first is a two speed electronic hand wheel with adjustable chuck rotation and the second is our proprietary AutoControl™. AutoControl™ is an operator programmable z-travel adjustment. The chuck moves up at a controlled speed until the programmed result is met, while the chuck is in motion a warning beep monitors the movement for the operator. After sanding to the programmed z-axis point, the chuck automatically adjusts for removal of the probe card.
